Outstanding horseman Mark Walker has led the way among New Zealand horse trainers, dominating the past decade.Mark Walker

His results speak volumes for his talent and ability. Walker has won five Trainers' Premierships in the past seven years. In 2009/10 he won the Premiership with 108 wins (28 more than the next stable). His Premiership wins have come in 2004, 2006, 2007, 2009 and 2010.

Importantly this result smashed the 17 year old New Zealand all time record for wins in a season.  The previous record, established by Dave and Paul O'Sullivan, stood at 104 wins.
