Who we are

Fortuna Ltd was incorporated early in 2007 with the sole purpose of becoming an authorized syndicator under the Bloodstock Exemption granted to New Zealand Thoroughbred Racing by the Securities Commission. That authorization has been granted by NZTR.

Fortuna Ltd, under the direction of its founder John Galvin, provides full syndication services including the putting together of syndicates with people who have a common interest in racing quality bloodstock, full administration services and racing manager services.

Fortuna Ltd has a close association with Te Akau Racing Stables and will be entrusting the selection of thoroughbred yearlings to be raced by the Fortuna Syndicates to David Ellis and Mark Walker of Te Akau. Mark Walker, New Zealand’s Champion Trainer, also trains Thoroughbreds for syndicates managed by Fortuna Ltd
