Fortuna acquires half sister to VRC Derby winner, LIONTAMER, by the English Derby winning stallion POUR MOI

Short listed some time ago by the Fortuna selection team as a real “Oaks/Derby” type filly, she ticks a lot of boxes. By first season Stallion, POUR MOI, himself a powerful winner of the English Derby, she is a half sister to the high class racehorse, LION TAMER, who not only won the VRC Derby at Flemington, but was also rated the top Australasian 3yo of his year.

Fortuna Thoroughbred Selector, David Ellis, commented as follows about this filly. ” I have had this filly in my sights for a while. She has a lovely pedigree with strong staying influences on both sides of the family  and physically, she looks like she will develop into a strong staying type; a real Oaks/Derby Filly.”

Shares can be acquired in this Staying Type Filly for $9,000 per 10% share, $4,500 per 5% share and $2,250 per 2.5% share with ongoing costs of $320 per month per 10% share, $160 per month per 5% share and $80 per month per 2.5% share. Monthly payments start 1st April 2015. Initial costs include cost of horse, GST, all Fees, insurance until 31st Jan 2016 and over $13,000 of working capital.
