Fortuna has two acceptance this Saturday, both in Singapore,
Singapore
Elliot Ness contests the Class 4 1200 Poly – Race 3 at 6pm NZT – Breaking a track record in his debut win in Singapore earlier in the year, he battled a virus during the spring but a fast finishing 5th placing beaten 2.5 lengths at his last start suggests he is close to claiming his 2nd career win – Nicely drawn with Premiership leading jockey K Hakim aboard and a featherweight to carry, he represents a solid each way chance here
King Arthur races in the Class 4 1200 Poly – Race 5 @ 7pm – Broke Maidens this trip and distance 2nd Oct, then ran bold 2nd Class 4, but over raced and faded out last start on the Turf – gets back to the Poly here, has wide draw to overcome, but gets Hakim’s services and 2kg claim – right in this if he gets luck in running
Here is what the STC form analysts say about this race
1st Pick: JUST BECAUSE (8)
Impressive winner on debut last start. Danny Beasley stays on, and most find it hard jumping in grade and winning again, but he can prove that wrong in this field.
2nd Pick: SESON (11)
Was well supported when winning last start in Class 5 and ran good time in that event. He drops 7kgs and must be respected.
3rd Pick: KING ARTHUR (6)
Suited by the switch back to the Polytrack and gets our leading jockey for the leading trainer. Watch betting.
4th Pick: RENZO (7)
Lightly-raced galloper who was strong in winning last start with the blinkers applied. Drawn well and should get a comfortable run and look a threat turning for home.
